Built for the whole facility

Run your telehealth service without adding a second system

Unite TeleHealth sits inside the same workflow your front desk and physicians already use — appointments, consent, and clinical notes stay in one place, not scattered across a booking tool, a video app, and a paper consent form.

One booking flow

Front desk or patient self-booking — same calendar, same rules

Identity built in

Emirates ID or passport verification before consent renders

Consent, not paperwork

Per-session consent captured electronically, every time

Notes reach the EMR

Structured encounter data flows to your existing EMR or HIS

Why clinics choose Unite TeleHealth

The parts that are hard to build yourself

01

DHA Standard-aligned by design

Consent, identity verification, and documentation follow DHA Telehealth Standards Version 4 (DHA/HRS/HPSD/ST-14) out of the box — not bolted on after the fact.

02

Your brand, not ours

Patients join at your facility's own branded link. Unite TeleHealth is the engine underneath, never the name they see.

03

WhatsApp-native joining

No app to download. Patients get a time-limited, signed join link over WhatsApp and tap straight into the consent lobby.

04

Audio-only recording, by policy

Video is never stored — only audio, for quality assurance and audit, with the patient's separate, declinable consent.

05

Reconnection built in

A dropped call automatically attempts reconnection within 30 seconds, with a documented fallback if it can't recover.

06

Fits the existing team

If your front desk already runs Unite EMR, there's no new tool to train on — telehealth is a new appointment type, not a new system.

How it works

From booking to visit report, in four steps

1

Book

Patient books online or through the front desk and pays before the slot is confirmed

2

Join & verify

A WhatsApp link opens the consent lobby — identity confirmed, consent captured

3

Consult

Encrypted video consultation, admitted by the physician once consent is verified

4

Document

Clinical notes, ICD-10/CPT codes, and a visit report reach the patient and the EMR

Regulatory alignment

Built in line with DHA telehealth specifications

Every patient-facing requirement in Section 10 of the DHA Telehealth Platform Assessment — service description, privacy notice, consent, patient rights, and complaint mechanism — has its own page here.

Fully aligned with DHA Telehealth Standards

Unite TeleHealth is designed and operated in full compliance with DHA Standards for Telehealth Services Version 4 (DHA/HRS/HPSD/ST-14) — covering registration, healthcare professional requirements, patient consent, health record management, and teleconsultation delivery.

DHA Application NFL-2026-00002929

Service description

A teleconsultation under Unite TeleHealth covers general and follow-up consultations delivered by a DHA-licensed physician over encrypted video. It does not replace emergency care, and any condition that needs a physical examination is flagged for an in-person referral before the visit proceeds.

Privacy notice & consent

Before a session starts, patients see exactly what's collected — identity documents, session audio, and clinical notes — and why. Consent for the consultation and consent for audio recording are captured separately, and either can be declined without blocking care.

Patient rights & complaints

Every patient can decline a teleconsultation and request an in-person visit instead, request a copy of their own records, and raise a complaint through a channel DHA can audit — documented at the point the right is exercised, not after the fact.

Security

How patient data is kept safe

Stays in the UAE

Hosted on Microsoft Azure UAE North. Patient data never leaves the country.

Encrypted throughout

AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit. Session recordings are encrypted the moment they're saved.

Every access logged

Role-based access control — physicians see only their own patients' records. All access events logged and auditable.

Video is never stored

Only audio is retained, for quality and audit purposes, and only with the patient's separate consent.

Independently certified

HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified information security management, audited annually.

Backed up, recoverable

Geo-redundant backup within the UAE region. Recovery point objective: 1 hour. Recovery time objective: 4 hours.
